FOX Entertainment Global alum Robyn Hurd has been named as senior VP of sales and co-productions for the U.K. and Scandinavia at Mediawan.

Mediawan has acquired Peter Chernin’s North Road, paid for mostly in stock valued at approximately $900 million.

LuckyChap (Barbie, Saltburn) has partnered with Mediawan to launch LuckyChap International, led by Mona Qureshi and Tanya Qureshi and operating across the U.K. and Europe.

Mediawan has appointed two new members to its executive team, including Caroline Le Masne coming on board as general counsel of the group.

The SpringHill Company, founded by LeBron James and Maverick Carter, and Mediawan have entered into a global content partnership to develop and co-produce original film and TV projects, adapt and localize existing IP and explore new international distribution opportunities.

Mediawan has acquired a majority stake in OUR Films, the newly established production and film financing company set up by Mario Gianani and Lorenzo Mieli.

Mediawan has clinched a deal to take full control of Leonine Studios, four years since picking up a 25 percent stake in the German producer and distributor.

Mediawan has invested in Black Box and A Perfect Man producer 24 25 Films.
