Solid Lands Gang Doc

ENCINO, September 15:
Solid Entertainment will represent the documentary Hijos de la Guerra (Children of the War), which provides a glimpse into the world of gang
life.

Hijos de la Guerra focuses on the story of the notorious Mara
Salvatrucha, a street gang formed in Los Angeles during the 1980s that has
since spread throughout the U.S. and Central America. It is available as both
the original 81-minute feature as well as a newly edited 52-minute version.

The program won the best
documentary film award at both the 2007 New York International Latino Film
Festival and the 2007 Brooklyn International Film Festival, and was made an
official selection of the Seattle International Film Festival, the Guadalajara
International Film Festival and the Chicago Latino Film Festival.
