Aardman, Enable Interactive Create New Online Kids’ Portal

BRISTOL, July 25: Aardman Animations and the British digital
agency Enable Interactive have teamed up for the design and development of WebbliWorld,
a new online portal for children.

Located at www.webbliworld.com, the portal is designed to
provide children with a safe virtual world in which they can experience the
vast resources of the Internet, including entertainment, educational resources
and news feeds. The next phase of the website includes a comprehensive search
engine and a social networking community. The project was commissioned by
WebbliWorld Limited.

The idea for WebbliWorld was conceived, and is owned by,
Justine Maunder and Camilla Whitby, both of whom have years of experience in
the TV and advertising industries in the U.K.

“Webbliworld.com was a fantastic opportunity for Aardman as
it allowed us to show that our animation and design skills are just as relevant
in web design,” said Heather Wright, the head of Aardman’s TV commercials
division. “Our designer Tim Ruffle created the highly colorful, energetic and
immersive world which kids love and which is something fresh and different
completely from scratch.”
