Sling, HIT Ink Content Deal

NEW YORK: A range of programming from HIT Entertainment will soon be available on Sling.com, the free video entertainment site, currently in beta mode, from EchoStar Corporation-owned Sling Media.

Sling.com will feature videos from a variety of popular HIT Entertainment properties, including Thomas the Tank Engine, Barney and Bob the Builder, through a custom HIT-branded channel.

"Partnering with Sling Media provides an exciting new channel of distribution for our programs," said Rob Weisstuch, the senior VP and CIO of HIT Entertainment. "Through this agreement, we are pleased to be able to offer families access to a vast library of programs when they want it, where they want it."
