SkyShowtime Taps Former Netflix Exec as Chief Content Officer

SkyShowtime has appointed Kai Finke, who previously served as Netflix’s director of content across multiple European markets, as its chief content officer.

Based in Amsterdam, Finke will lead the programming team at SkyShowtime. Responsibilities include managing the streamer’s roster of partner studio entertainment, merchandising and scheduling. He will also be in charge of the original programming slate and acquisitions.

Finke also previously worked for companies such as the Munich-based distributor Telepool and telecom giant Vodafone.
