SKY NZ Adds New Channel Dedicated to Classic Series

SKY in New Zealand is adding the brand-new channel JONES! too to its basic tier.

Launching July 1, JONES! too will feature iconic shows from the 1960s to the ’90s. The programming lineup includes such classics as the ’80s shows The Golden Girls, Moonlighting and The Greatest American Hero, together with ’70s hit One Day at a Time. The schedule will feature weekend marathons of fan favorites such as The Good Life, Frasier, Mission: Impossible, Jeeves & Wooster and Columbo.

Rachel Thomson, SKY’s manager of general entertainment channels, said: “There’s been an enormous amount of positive sentiment around the JONES! brand since the 2013 launch and the channel is consistently amongst SKY’s most watched. Being able to offer an even wider selection of nostalgic and escapist classic content to our customers, on JONES! too, is a no-brainer.”
