SevenOne Targets Asian Rollout for 9Live

MUNICH, August 28: SevenOne International is teaming with
Singaporean-based distributor 6-6-8 to roll out local call-TV windows based on
its interactive quiz station 9Live across Southeast Asia.

6-6-8 will distribute 9Live and produce the interactive quiz
shows for the region. A team of experts from the German station will provide
on-location advice about implementing the programs, drawn from a database of
more than 50,000 different quiz and riddle questions.

“Following our successful launch in the Middle East, we now
plan to export interactive TV to Southeast Asia,” said Marcus Wolter, 9Live’s
managing director. “The 9Live brand stands for high-quality, profitable call
TV. Southeast Asia is a further challenge for us, one that I have no doubt
we’ll handle extremely well with our unique know-how and the assistance of our
partner 6-6-8. The new cooperative agreement underscores 9Live’s leading role
as an international production company for interactive programming.”

Jens Richter, the managing director of SevenOne
International, added, “Distributing 9Live in Southeast Asia opens up an
additional high-growth segment for us in an immense market. There is an
extraordinary demand for interactive programming in Southeast Asia. And here
we’re working with a very technology-friendly audience that participates in
interactive entertainment via every platform—phone, the Internet, cell
phones. So it’s only logical for us to take 9Live to Southeast Asia.”

Jonathan Foo, the president of 6-6-8, noted, “Our presence
on location and 9Live’s extensive know-how in developing interactive
programming will make for a very effective partnership.”
