Parthenon Names Kids’ Production Chief

LONDON, September 28: As part of its foray into kids’ programming,
Parthenon Entertainment has appointed Karina Stanford-Smith
as head of children’s production.

With Parthenon now managing S4Ci’s existing catalogue of
kids’ programming, alongside new projects, the company currently has a kids’
library of close to 475 hours either completed or in development.

Stanford-Smith has been working closely with Parthenon over
the last few months on the new property Ed & Eppa in the Wild. The HD series combines wildlife footage with two
CGI alien characters who host the show. Stanford-Smith previously worked with
Tell-Tale Productions, the Little Entertainment Company, Cheeky Co, and the
Crazy Cartoon Company.

Carl Hall, Parthenon’s founder and MD, commented, “The
aggressive development of our children’s business is one of Parthenon’s key
strategies. I was determined that we would find the right person for the new
post and am confident that Karina is ideal. She brings with her a wealth of
experience as well as a prodigious talent.”
