Twentieth Century Fox Inks French VOD Deal

PARIS, September 29: A variety
of Twentieth Century Fox’s current and library films will be offered on-demand
to subscribers of CANALPLAY, Groupe CANAL+’s VOD platform.

“We continue to pursue
distribution opportunities which make it more convenient for consumers to
access Fox content,” said Peter Levinsohn, the president of pay television and
digital media at Twentieth Century Fox. “We are very pleased to broaden our
relationship with Canal Plus by providing content for its new video on demand
platform.”

CANALPLAY, which launched on October
12 last year, offers up feature films, kids’ programming from Nickelodeon and
Jetix and anime titles, among other content.
