Series Mania Forum Confirms Key Speakers for 2020 Event

Series Mania Forum has announced the major aspects of the program as well as the main speakers for this year’s event.

Among the industry professionals set to share their insights at the event are Lars Blomgren (Endemol Shine Group), Carlo Dusi (Red Arrow International), Moreyba Bidessie (A+E), Christian Vesper (Fremantle) and Xavier Arestimuño (HBO LatAm), among others. They will discuss the concentration of large audio-visual groups on a European scale, distributors becoming super-producers and the trend of series based on real life, among other topics.

Screenwriters and creators Anna Winger (Deutschland 83, Unorthodox), Eric Rochant (The Bureau), Stefano Sardo (1994), Sara Johnsen (22 July) and Jeppe Gjervig Gram (Follow The Money) will also be in attendance at the forum to talk about their experiences, as will directors such as Jacques Audiard (The Bureau), Christian Schwochow (The Crown, Bad Banks), Thomas Vincent (Versailles, Bodyguard, Borgia, Osmosis), Destiny Ekaragha (The End of the F***ing World) and Sílvia Quer (Elite).

Official delegations from all over the world (Germany, Italy, Spain, Australia, Korea, Brazil) will attend Series Mania Forum 2020. This year’s event will include a number of companies outside of Europe who will be exhibiting for the first time, including Globo (Brazil), Nippon TV (Japan) and TV3 and Premier Studios (Russia), among others.

Series Mania Forum will take place from March 25 to 27 at Lille Grand Palais. The Lille Dialogues one-day summit is set for March 26.
