Ovation to Feature Photography Competition Series in FRAMED Lineup

SANTA MONICA: To kick off its FRAMED programming event, Ovation TV is set to premiere the three-part series Picture This on November 23. 

The series follows six photographers who compete for the chance to have their works exhibited at a major gallery, along with a book-publishing deal. The first episode watches as the contestants take portraits of each other. The second episode looks at documentary photography, while the third episode is a grab bag, where the photographers have to produce a body of work on theme of their own choosing. 

FRAMED will also include documentaries on such photographers as Sally Mann, Edward Weston and David LaChapelle, as well as the BBC series The Genius of Photography.
