Olympic Channel Adds Three Sports to Offering

MADRID: The Olympic Channel secured cooperation agreements with World Air Sports Federation, World Bowling and World Flying Disc Federation to collaborate on content and expand its lineup.

The Olympic Channel will work with the federations to bring air sports, bowling and flying disc content to viewers. The three organizations join 36 International Federations (IFs) and IOC Recognized Sports Federations that have already inked similar agreements with the channel this year.

The channel is working with its IF partners on live event streaming, event coverage, highlights, magazine shows, news and original programming, as well as technical business solutions. By the end of the year, Olympic Channel will have streamed more than 50 live events since its launch in August.

“The Olympic Channel is dedicated to promoting all sports and athletes within the Olympic Movement,” said Mark Parkman, the general manager of the Olympic Channel. “As we look ahead to 2017, we are excited to work with air sports, bowling and flying disc to promote their sports and to help grow their audiences worldwide.”
