The Olympic Channel has launched on connected television devices for Android TV and Apple TV, and will be available on the Roku platform in January.

Through the distribution expansion, the Olympic Channel’s library of original content that features more than 50 series such as Identify, Against All Odds and Hitting the Wall will be available on the select connected television devices. There will be access to the channel’s signature sports documentary series that includes The Nagano Tapes, The People’s Fighter’s and The Golden Generation and a round-the-clock live stream as well.

There are future plans for programming live events in select territories in collaboration with the Olympic Channel’s federation partners on connected TV devices. The channel is also set to become available on additional devices.

Mark Parkman, the general manager of the IOC’s global Olympic Channel, said: “As the Olympic Channel continues to grow and evolve, we are dedicated to making our content available wherever our audiences are watching in efforts to create more personalized experiences for our viewers. With more and more consumers using connected television devices, fans now have more options to discover our content and engage with their favorite sports and athletes.”
