Nickelodeon Announces EMEA Gaming Deal

LONDON/NEW YORK/SANTA
MONICA, July 12: In an exclusive three-year agreement, Nickelodeon and Viacom
Consumer Products (NVCP) has tapped EMME Group to publish PC games based on hit
Nickelodeon preschool properties such as Dora the Explorer, Go Diego Go! and The Backyardigans, for release throughout Europe, the Middle East
and Africa.

EMME France and its
subsidiary GSP in the U.K. successfully launched the PC game Dora Around the
World
in spring 2007 and a new
title, Diego Wolf Pup Rescue,
is set for release this fall. Both games were developed by Nickelodeon U.S. and
will launch in Benelux, Germany, Israel and Sweden before the end of the year.

“EMME has the
international profile and European expertise to successfully bring our
preschool PC games to the region’s key markets,” commented Jean-Philippe
Randisi, the VP and managing director of NVCP for the EMEA. “Gaming is a
rapidly growing industry and while many players focus mostly on new consoles,
we wanted to develop our Nick Jr. business with a partner that really
understands PC games, marketing and distribution, and the challenges and
opportunities.”
