New SPEED Show from ITV Studios America

SHERMAN OAKS: My Ride Rules, a new show from ITV Studios America for the SPEED channel, is to premiere August 3 at 9 p.m.

In the 13-episode half-hour show, four motor enthusiasts riding in each other’s cars will compete for who has the best ride.

“Just about anyone who has ever lavished time, affection and money on his or her car has a deep emotional connection to the vehicle,” said Robert Ecker, SPEED’s VP of programming and executive producer. “Take four such people, put them in each other’s prized possessions, ask them to assess the car and its owner, and the sparks are bound to fly. Given the chance, more people are likely to rip each other’s rides than praise them for the simple reason stated in the show’s title; everyone believes that My Ride Rules.”
