NBCU Shuffles Entertainment Unit

NEW YORK, December 8: NBC
Universal is said to be replacing top executives in charge of both scripted and reality series for
the NBC network as well as the head of the company's television studio.

According
to The New York Times, executives
affected include Katherine Pope, who had led the NBC Universal television
studio; Teri Weinberg, who develops scripted shows for NBC; and Craig Plestis,
who ran the reality programming unit.

Angela
Bromstad, who
left her post as president of NBC Universal TV Studios in May 2007 to head the
company's London activities, is being brought back in a role that will give her some
studio oversight.
