JTMG Appointed as Licensing Agency for American Gladiators

DANVILLE, February 6: Joy
Tashjian Marketing Group (JTMG) has been named by Reveille and MGM Consumer
Products as the licensing agency for both the latest American Gladiators series and the classic original.

JTMG will launch products
in such key consumer categories as gaming (interactive, handheld, board games,
video games), apparel, sporting goods, athletic equipment, food and beverage,
as well as QSR promotions.

In addition to JTMG’s
merchandise, MGM Consumer Products is developing a Style Guide with separate
sections for both the classic American Gladiators and the new, updated version. The classic section
will target kids and adults with a retro feel, while the section supporting the
current series will target boys and incorporate bold graphics with a younger,
more dynamic feel.

MGM Television and
Reveille produce the latest series in association with Flor-Jon Films. It airs
on NBC and is co-hosted by Hulk Hogan and Laila Ali, and features special
effects to heighten the atmosphere of the competitions. Reveille's Mark Koops
and Howard T. Owens as well as David Hurwitz and the series creator, Johnny
Ferraro, are the executive producers.
