NATPE Spotlight: Zee Entertainment Enterprises

A bittersweet relationship between a daughter and stepmother is at the center of the Zee Entertainment Enterprises drama Cosmic Connection (Tujhse Hai Raabta).

At NATPE, the company is also showcasing Deceptive Measures (Pavitra Rishta), which was the first Indian series to be adapted in Africa. The Life of Earth from Space, a blue-chip factual program Zee is presenting at the market, is a two-part 4K CGI series that takes a new visual approach to presenting the story of our planet.

“Our dramas, with their extremely engaging storylines, have an immense appeal in LatAm,” says Sunita Uchil, chief business officer for global syndication and production and international ad sales at Zee. “The appeal of a science factual series produced in association with the Smithsonian [Channel] is sure to raise the ante.”

Begusarai (Bullets and Blood) and Altar’d Season 2 round out the titles Zee is bringing to Miami.
