MTV Aligns with Amazon’s CreateSpace for Jersey Shore DVD

CHARLESTON: Amazon.com’s CreateSpace unit has teamed with MTV for the exclusive DVD release of the hit Jersey Shore, featuring uncensored episodes as well as a range of bonus content.

Jersey Shore Uncensored: Season One is being released with CreateSpace’s DVD on Demand technology. In addition to all nine broadcast episodes, there are uncensored episodes, the reunion special, tips from cast members Snooki and The Situation and a Jersey Shore makeover with actor Michael Cera. CreateSpace says that its DVD on Demand technology allows studios and networks to get their product to market faster than traditional methods of DVD distribution. It allows enables companies to avoid estimating market demand and missed sales due to stock-outs on popular content during peak demand.
