Mike Lolato to Bolster Sales Efforts at Canamedia

TORONTO: Mike Lolato is to join Canamedia, which was recently acquired by Distribution Access, as managing director of worldwide broadcast sales.

Lolato will join Andrea Stokes, the international sales and acquisitions manager, at MIPCOM to promote Canamedia’s new lineup and develop new opportunities for distribution. Prior to joining Canamedia, Lolato held roles at companies such as Astral: TMN-The Movie Network and CHUM Television.

“We are excited to welcome Mike on board as part of our growing team,” said Doug Connolly, the president of Distribution Access. “Canamedia is moving forward in key areas such as acquisition, production and new media, with an eye for expansion in all of these areas and Mike’s 20 years of experience in various markets will help expedite this growth.”
