MediaCorp Takes Hell’s Kitchen

HONG KONG, December 1: Granada International, which recently
opened an Asian regional headquarters in Hong Kong, has licensed the latest
season of the American version of Hell’s Kitchen to Singaporean terrestrial broadcaster MediaCorp.

The ten-episode FOX series, in which Gordon Ramsay trains a
group of chefs vying for the chance to run their own restaurant, will launch on
MediaCorp’s Channel 5 later this year.

The ten-episode series will air on Channel 5 in Singapore
later this year. Selena Ho, the channel president at MediaCorp, said of the
show: “Hell’s Kitchen USA is a
fascinating series building to an electrifying climax. I believe our viewers
will be delighted to follow the fate of the contestants as they appear before
the terrifying Chef Ramsay each week.”

The Singapore agreement follows the licensing of the show
earlier this year to UBC Thailand, Orion Media Korea, Discovery India and Solar
in the Philippines. In the U.S., the show is heading into a third season on
FOX.
