Marie Osmond Unveils Syndicated Talk Show

LAS VEGAS, January 30:
Marie Osmond has joined up with Program Partners for a new
entertainment/lifestyle talk show, titled Marie, set to launch in syndication in fall 2009.

"I've always wanted
to do a show for women that would offer them a safe place to have some fun and
get vital information,” Osmond commented. “Marie will truly reflect my personality—funny,
sometimes serious and never predictable."

"Marie is a true
original," said Ritch Colbert of Program Partners. "And Marie the series will be every bit as much a winner as
she is. This is the kind of project that stations have been waiting for, for a
very long time."

Osmond first gained fame
as the co-host of the popular ABC television variety program The Donny &
Marie Show, and went on to become
a successful recording artist, Broadway performer, author and entrepreneur.
Most recently, Osmond was a contestant on the hit show Dancing with the
Stars.
