Mainframe’s Harriet the Spy Set for Discovery Kids Launch

VANCOUVER, October 9: The live-action kids’ adventure series
Harriet the Spy, which Mainframe
Entertainment is offering at MIPCOM this week, will launch on Discovery Kids in
the U.S. next fall.

The 22×30-minute show is a production of Protocol
Entertainment, whose credits include the acclaimed Goosebumps series. The series is based on the novels by Louise
Fitzhugh that have sold over four million copies in the U.S since 1964. The
books have been published in 14 countries around the world. The new Random
House publishing program includes Harriet the Spy, The Long Secret,
Sport, Harriet Spies Again
and the upcoming
Harriet the Spy: Double Agent.
The feature film, Harriet the Spy,
was released by Paramount Pictures in 1996.
