PARIS: Following the departure of Morgann Favennec, the M6 Group has named Rémi Jimenez as its new director of youth programs.

Jimenez joined M6 in 2001. He has worked in the acquisitions department as an artistic representative in cinema and later took on responsibility for purchasing films. He has been deputy director since 2007 and became deputy managing director of M6 Films in February of last year. He now gains oversight for the group’s youth programs. Favennec has departed M6 after seven years, joining the new distribution outfit Superights.

Also at M6, Christophe Foglio has been promoted to director of human resources and the organization. Foglio joined the group in 2008 as director of technological resources. In the new role, he replaces Delphine Cazaux, who is leaving the post after 11 years.
