m4e Restructures Following Telescreen Buy

GRUENWALD: Following its December acquisition of Telescreen, m4e has announced a restructuring, with Sjoerd Raemakers becoming head of distribution, Theo van der Schaaf overseeing home entertainment, and Lisette Looman helming a new content and production division.

Raemakers and van der Schaaf will remain managing directors of the Dutch outfit Telescreen, which assumes responsibility for the international distribution of the TV and new-media rights of the m4e Group, as well as the home-entertainment rights outside of German-speaking territories. Looman, who formerly headed up development and production at Telescreen, becomes manager of group content and production. In addition, Telescreen Licensing & Merchandizing will be renamed Telescreen Consumer Products, led by Telescreen veteran Hanny Brands, with m4e’s Peter Beermann continuing in his role as the director of consumer products for Germany.
