Lineup Announced for Banff World TV Festival

TORONTO, February 6: Mike Clattenburg, the creator, director
and head writer of The Trailer Park Boys;
and Greg Daniels, the executive producer of The Office, are among those featured in the lineup for this
year’s Banff World Television Festival, taking place June 10 to 13 at the
Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel in Banff, Alberta.

Also participating are Susanne Daniels, the president of
entertainment at Lifetime Entertainment Services; and Ben Silverman, the
executive producer of The Office and Ugly
Betty
and founder and CEO of Reveille. Mike
Clattenburg and Greg Daniels will participate in this year’s Master Class
sessions, which focus on the development and production of TV’s most popular
series. Susanne Daniels and Ben Silverman will be interviewed by New York Times
reporter and best-selling author Bill Carter for the In Conversation… series.

The new additions to the lineup follow last week’s announcement
that Dawn Airey, Sky’s outgoing managing director of channels and services,
will deliver a keynote speech at the festival.

“We are thrilled to be hosting such fascinating and
celebrated speakers,” said Jennifer Harkness, the director of content at BWTVF.
“The 28th Banff World Television Festival continues its commitment to bring
television industry leaders from around the world for our attendees to learn
from and network with.”
