Lifetime Orders Production of New Drama Series

LOS ANGELES, March 7: Lifetime Television has ordered
production on 13 episodes of the new one-hour comedic drama series Side
Order of Life,
scheduled to premiere this
July on the network.

The new drama joins Army Wives and State of Mind as Lifetime’s third new original scripted drama
series to premiere this summer. Produced by The Jinks/Cohen Company in
association with Warner Horizon Television for Lifetime Television, the series
centers on a 30-year-old young magazine photographer named Jenny McIntyre who
suddenly re-evaluates her life and impending nuptials after learning
life-altering news from her brash and outspoken best friend, Vivy. The series
stars Marisa Coughlan, Jason Priestley, Christopher Gartin and Diana-Maria
Riva. Academy Award-winning producers Dan Jinks and Bruce Cohen (American
Beauty
) will serve as executive producers.
The pilot, directed by James Frawley (Ally McBeal), was written by Margaret Nagle (HBO's Warm
Springs
), who created the series and serves
as co-executive producer.
