Leopard Scores Worldwide Sales

LONDON, February 21:
Leopard International has sold six of its programs through volume deals in the
U.K. and a number of new territories around the world.

In the U.K., Sky
Real Lives has picked up seasons three and four of Missing, which looks at how the Metropolitan Police’s
Missing Person’s Unit operates. The channel has also picked up both seasons of Found, a documentary series that explores the stories of
adopted people as they trace their loved ones. UKTV has secured a volume deal
for 200 hours of programming, including seasons 10-12 of Cash in the Attic, seasons three through eight of Car Booty and the first season of My Life For Sale.

Furthermore, BBC Worldwide’s
Global Channels business picked up more than 80 hours of programming for BBC
Lifestyle. Currently available in Poland, Singapore and Hong Kong, the channel
will air season two of Hidden Potential and the first season of the U.S.-produced format of Cash in the
Attic
. Over in South Africa, the
Home Channel has bought up the new lifestyle series Beyond Repair, which centers on restoring and fixing furniture.

Sarah Diggins, the head of
sales at Leopard International, said: “The secondary U.K. market continues to
be a strong revenue stream for us and shows the enduring appeal of Leopard
shows. On top of that, volume deals that open new international markets for us
through the BBC channels are also a great endorsement.”
