Set in the near future, Keshet International’s 2025 is a 24/7 reality format.

The show takes place on a massive set with humanoid hosts and powered by a team of operators who monitor the microcosmic game that the contestants are playing inside. “It’s Monopoly meets The Truman Show, with a good dose of ‘smart city’ future values thrown in,” says Kelly Wright, the company’s senior VP of distribution and new business.

Meanwhile, Preso Numero Uno, a super-series from the team of Israeli creators behind Wisdom of the Crowd, takes place in two timelines that follow the rise and fall of fictitious Mexican president Carmelo Alvarado, who finds himself locked up after a corruption scandal. “Co-developed with Telemundo, Preso Numero Uno is a super-series based on a paper format from two Israeli writers,” Wright says.

The competition format The Great Gardening Challenge rounds out the slate, following along as outdoor spaces are transformed.
