The Kominsky Method to Return to Netflix for Season 2

Netflix has renewed The Kominsky Method, a comedy series starring Michael Douglas and Alan Arkin, for a second season.

Both Douglas and Arkin will return as series regulars for season two of The Kominsky Method, along with Sarah Baker and Nancy Travis. Production on the show’s eight-episode sophomore season, which will continue to follow the exploits of the once-famous actor Sandy Kominsky (Douglas) and his longtime agent (Arkin), will commence in late January in Los Angeles.

The Kominsky Method, created by Chuck Lorre, bowed on Netflix in November. The series has since picked up two Golden Globe Award wins—for best musical or comedy TV series and for best actor in a musical or comedy TV series for Douglas’s performance. Arkin was nominated for a best supporting actor Golden Globe.
