Kate Laffey Joins Fifth Season

Fifth Season has enlisted Kate Laffey to lead its global acquisition strategy.

Reporting to Jennifer Ebell, executive VP of television distribution, Laffey’s appointment as senior VP of acquisitions, is effective immediately. Her team includes the London-based Liz Tang as executive director of acquisitions.

Laffey joins Fifth Season from Number 9 Films, where she was head of TV. Prior to this, she spent four years at Paramount heading up the International TV studio. Previous roles were held at Cineflix Rights and ITV Studios.
