History, Biography Channel Shows Join maxdome

MUNICH, May 31: The History Channel Germany has reached an
agreement with ProSiebenSat.1 Group to offer programs from The History Channel
and The Biography Channel (BIO) on the German broadband VOD service maxdome.

The History Channel and BIO programs will be available in
German and in English and are the first documentaries to be offered on the
service. Titles currently on offer include Modern Marvels, Deep Sea
Detectives, Investigating History and The
Samurai from The History Channel. BIO
programs will be added in the coming months, and will include Gene
Simmons Family Jewels, Inked and Biography episodes on Anna Nicole Smith, Mick Jagger and Steffi Graf, among
others.

Viewers can access maxdome via a PC or on television with an
in-home set-top box. The Premium Package provides unlimited access to programs
for 19.99 euros per month, or users can opt for a download-to-rent service
priced at 1.99 euros for 24 hours.
