Grey’s Anatomy Gets Ready for Syndication

LOS ANGELES, November 14:
Buena Vista Television has secured 14 of the 15 top markets in the U.S. for the
off-network syndication of Grey’s Anatomy.

The hit ABC series will
launch in the fall of 2009 and the stations that have cleared the series
include the ABC owned-and-operated stations WABC New York, KABC Los Angeles,
WLS Chicago, WPVI Philadelphia, KGO San Francisco and KTRK Houston; Fox-owned
WFXT Boston and WTTG Washington; Cox's ABC affiliate WSB Atlanta; and Scripps'
ABC affiliate WXYZ Detroit, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Earlier this year, Buena
Vista Television made a deal with Lifetime for the cable rerun rights for a
reported $1.2 million per episode.
