Globo Renews Pact with Acasa TV

BUCHAREST, November 14:
Romania’s Acasa TV, a cable channel that reaches 60 percent of the country’s
households, has renewed its agreement with Globo TV International in a deal
that covers 350 hours of TV Globo productions to be broadcast in 2007.
Since 2000, Acasa TV has aired such Globo TV
International productions such as Terra Nostra, Shades of Sin, The Clone, Family Ties and
Her Own Destiny. Currently the
channel is featuring another telenovela, Celebrity, and in 2007 plans to two additional Globo
telenovelas: Belíssima and
America.
America posted a 71-percent prime time audience share in Brazil. It has
already been sold to 23 countries, including Portugal, Armenia, Albania,
Georgia, Bulgaria, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile and Canada. Belíssima sold to more than 40 countries. It opened in
Brazil with a 73-percent prime time audience share.
