Further Sales for Martha Speaks

TORONTO/LONDON, January 8:
DECODE Enterprises has completed new deals for the Studio B- and WGBH-produced
series Martha Speaks, based on
the best-selling books by Susan Meddaugh.

New deals were struck with
Discovery Kids Latin America, Canal+ Cyfrowy and OP
Art in Poland, Noga Communication's Logi Channel in Israel and Minimax in Central and
Eastern Europe, Al
Jazeera Children's Channel for the Arabic countries and Finland's YLE. Martha
Speaks
, aimed at 4- to 7-year-olds, is
currently airing on PBS KIDS in the U.S. and sold to Canadian broadcasters TVO,
Knowledge Network and SCN, in addition to a recent sale to the U.K.'s CBBC.

Josh Sherba, the VP of
distribution for DECODE
Enterprises, said: "This series is really gaining international momentum
following a good reception at MIPCOM. We're very pleased to have followed the
CBBC deal with several further major sales for the show."
