Fox, eOne in Home-Entertainment Pact

LOS ANGELES/TORONTO: Entertainment One (eOne) and 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment (Fox) have signed a multi-territory home-entertainment deal and are launching a new joint venture in Canada.

Fox and eOne have a long-standing home-entertainment distribution alliance in Australia and Spain. With the expanded partnership, Fox will manage sales and distribution services on DVD and Blu-ray on behalf of eOne for film, television and family home-entertainment titles in the U.K., Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Spain and Australia. The marketing and sales efforts for eOne’s Peppa Pig in the U.S. physical home-entertainment market will also be taken on by Fox.

In Canada, eOne and Fox will launch a home-entertainment joint venture that is set to release, among others, The Hateful Eight, The Peanuts Movie, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 and Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip.
