TORONTO/SÃO PAULO: The Canada Media Fund (CMF) and Spcine, São Paulo State’s audiovisual development corporation, have awarded financing totaling C$168,000 ($127,000) for the co-development of four projects between producers in Canada and São Paulo, Brazil.

This incentive is the result of a renewed partnership, now in its second year, between both organizations to encourage the co-development of audiovisual content. Projects were evaluated and chosen unanimously by a committee comprised of representatives from the CMF and Spcine.

The recipients are Margaret and Mina (Silex Créations and Preto e Branco Projetos Audiovisuais), The Children of the World (Fist Games and Split Studio Produções Audiovisuais), Forest AR, a crossmedia experience (PLIAB and Duo2.TV) and Prison Life (V2 Games and Flux Game Studio Jogos Digitais).
