FME Presenting Slate of New & Returning Series

LONDON: FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME) has unveiled its MIPTV slate, which features a host of new series, such as Bridget’s Sexiest Beaches, alongside returning programs, like Merlin.

Already sold into 114 territories just six month after its launch, Merlin returns with a second season to offer buyers. Also in FME’s portfolio is Osbournes: Reloaded. The 6×1-hour series features a mix of audience interaction, comedy and stunts. Osbournes: Reloaded is produced by FremantleMedia North America for FOX.

New in the Jamie Oliver franchise is Jamie’s America, which features the celebrity chef traveling across the U.S. to examine the cuisine, culture, and people. Also featuring elements of travel and exploration, Bridget’s Sexiest Beaches features Playboy alum Bridget Marquardt heading out to exotic destinations around the globe. Another show in the travel vein from FME is Mark & Olly: Living with the Machigenga. The 8×1-hour show follows adventurer Mark Anstice and journalist Olly Steeds as they immerse themselves into a Peruvian tribe.

From the Original Productions catalogue comes Pitchmen: Gadgets to Glory. The program spotlights the adventures of Billy Mays and Anthony Sullivan, two successful and charismatic salesmen, as they search the world for inventions they believe they can pitch into the big time.

Returning series on FME’s slate include Grand Designs, Property Ladder, Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations and Martha Stewart, alongside Original Productions’ blue-collar programs like Black Gold, Verminators, 1,000 Ways to Die, LA Hard Hats and America’s Port.

Spike TV’s DEA is returning with a second season of six one-hour episodes. The series looks at the complex relationship between special agents and informants. Other returning programs are Satisfaction, The IT Crowd, That Mitchell and Webb Look, as well as The Best Years and She’s Got the Look. There is also a third season of Live from Abbey Road, featuring the likes of James Taylor, Lyle Lovett, Seal, Keane, The Killers, The Fray and Fleet Foxes.
