Power of 10 to Debut in Colombia

BOGOTÁ, February 1: Colombian producer Teleset has announced that El Poder del 10, a local version of Sony Pictures Television International’s (SPTI) original game-show format Power of 10, will debut on Monday, February 4 on Canal RCN.

Produced by Teleset for Canal RCN, El Poder del 10 will premiere after RCN’s newscast. In Colombia, El Poder del 10 will rely on the general production of Juan Francisco Domí®§uez and will be directed by Pablo Garro, with about 250 players to be featured in the show. The set is designed by Lucas Jaramillo, the same person who was charged with the assembly for other shows produced by Teleset, including La Isla de los Famos.o.s., El Factor Xs 2007 and El Jugador, among others.

Power of 10 was originally launched in the U.S. on CBS in mid-2007 and was sold to more than 30 countries, including Latin America. Colombia is the third country to broadcast the game show. The original U.S. version is presented by comedian, actor and producer Drew Carey.
