Cake Shores Up Canadian, Australian Sales on King Arthur’s Disasters

LONDON, September 19: Cake
Distribution has secured sales for its 26×30-minute animated comedy-adventure
series King Arthur’s Disasters
to BBC Kids in Canada and Nickelodeon in Australia.

King Arthur’s Disasters
follows the animated adventures of
King Arthur on his quests to marry Princess Guinevere. The series airs in the
U.K. on Nickelodeon and ITV’s weekend block, and has now aired as one of
Cartoon Network France’s acquisitions, as well as on Disney Italy, Cartoon
Network Latin America, Disney Spain, Cartoon Network India, and ABC Australia.
The series will soon launch on Nickelodeon Germany. The second DVD release
through Granada also hit the shelves at the end of 2006 in the U.K., and other
home video deals are to follow soon.
