Executive Shifts at ABC

BURBANK: Paul Lee, the president of ABC Entertainment Group, has made several changes to his senior programming team, including promoting John Saade to executive VP of alternative series and late-night programming.

Reporting directly to Lee, Saade has oversight for all of ABC’s prime-time alternative/reality fare. He was previously senior VP of alternative and late-night together with Vicki Dummer, who has now been named senior VP of current series and specials. Also reporting to Lee, Dummer will oversee all current series and special programming for the network’s prime-time block. She replaces Lynn Barrie, who’s moving over to become senior VP of comedy development.

In addition, Patrick Moran has been promoted to senior VP and head of creative development at ABC Studios, and Amy Hartwick has been promoted to senior VP of comedy development at ABC Studios.

“These changes bolster the creative strength of our studio with two of our strongest up-and-coming creative executives; empower our current department, which is the heart of the network; and position our successful reality department for even greater achievement in the future," Lee said.
