ESPN STAR Sports Extends EPL Rights

SINGAPORE, November 28: ESPN STAR Sports has extended its
agreement with the FA Premier League (FAPL) for the live broadcast rights to
the Barclays English Premier League in key Asian markets until 2010.

ESPN STAR Sports will exclusively broadcast the EPL in
Malaysia, Indonesia, South Korea, North Korea, Brunei, the Philippines,
Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam, Taiwan and Macau. The agreement grants the
channel, a 50/50 joint venture between ESPN and STAR, the rights to broadcast
370 matches per season on television and new media platforms including
broadband and mobile.

Jamie Davis, the managing director of ESPN STAR Sports,

ESPN STAR Sports reaches 276.8 million viewers in Asia, with
13 networks covering 24 countries, including ESPN Asia, ESPN India, ESPN
Taiwan, ESPN Singapore, ESPN Philippines, MBC-ESPN (Korea), ESPN Hong Kong,
STAR Sports Hong Kong, STAR Sports Asia, STAR Sports India, STAR Sports Taiwan,
STAR Sports Southeast Asia and STAR Sports Singapore.
