StarHub Wins English Premier League Rights for Singapore

SINGAPORE, November 28: Singaporean cable platform StarHub
has won the exclusive rights for the next three seasons of the Barclays English
Premier League (EPL), beginning in the 2007/2008 season.

“StarHub has been the place where Singaporeans watch EPL for
the past ten seasons, and we are pleased that we are able to continue our
exclusive offerings of unbeatable EPL content for our customers for the next
three seasons,” said Mike Reynolds, the head of integrated products and
marketing at the company. “The difference this time around is that the rights
include broadband and mobile broadcast rights, so it fits perfectly with our
“Hubbing” strategy. Our customers can look forward to getting EPL from StarHub
over any of our three service platforms, regardless of where they are or what
device they choose to use.”

StarHub will have the exclusive Singaporean rights to as
many as 380 EPL matches for broadcast on cable TV, mobile and online.
