eOne Names New European Sales Execs & Marketing Hire

LONDON/LOS ANGELES: Entertainment One (eOne) has expanded its European sales teams, adding new executives for Spain and Benelux.

Sara Ortegon will be based in the company’s Madrid office. She will work with Raquel Villa on TV sales within the Spanish and Portuguese markets. Meanwhile, Karel Lisman will handle TV sales for the Benelux region, reporting to Jan Kouwenhoven and Wilco Wolfers while working out of the company’s Hilversum office.

“As we build out our London base and widen our team around the world, we are confident that we will be better positioned to broaden relationships with our creative, broadcast and digital partners, ensuring that we continue to be a leading home for world-class content for years to come,” said Stuart Baxter, the president of eOne Television International.

Further sales-team hires in the U.K. and Hong Kong will be announced in the near future.

Additionally, former Shine Group exec Caroline Stott will join the company as executive VP of market, effective April 7. Stott will oversee marketing efforts globally and be responsible for developing and executing eOne Television’s international marketing strategy. She will report to Baxter and work out of London, where she will direct both Toronto and London teams. Stott most recently served as executive VP of global marketing for Shine Group.
