Ellen’s Acres Set for International Rollout

CANNES, October 12:
Animation Collective has announced the sale of broadcast and home-video rights
for its property Ellen’s Acres, currently
airing in the U.K., to Latin
America, Australia, Canada and the Middle East.

The series, which currently
airs on Cartoon Network UK, has been picked up by Cartoon Network Latin
America, Australian Broadcasting Corporation (broadcast and video/DVD), Al
Jazeera and TV Ontario.

Ellen’s Acres is a comedy about a five-year-old girl and her
feather duster, her radial tire, her parent’s hotel and her own adventures and
imagination.

“Ellen’s Acres is truly one of those properties that immediately
grab you,” said Kate Sanagan, a partner at Picture Box Distribution, the
company responsible for sales of the series in Canada and Europe. “The vibrant
animation mixed with the colorful and comedic story lines appeals to
children—and buyers—the world over.”
