Charlotte Moore, the controller of BBC One, shared with Edinburgh TV Festival attendees how best to get their next big idea onto the channel.

Moore was joined by Shane Allen, controller of comedy commissioning; Alison Kirkham, controller of factual commissioning; Piers Wenger, controller of drama commissioning; and Kate Phillips, controller of entertainment commissioning. Together, they shared exclusive clips of upcoming shows and revealed what they want next.

In its 43rd year, the Edinburgh International Television Festival is the seminal media event bringing together all parts of the TV world to celebrate the creativity, diversity and inspirational talent in our field and to debate major industry issues.
