DIC, Fox in Five-Year Home Entertainment Deal

BURBANK, November 7: DIC Entertainment and American
Greetings Corporation have entered into a five-year home entertainment
agreement with Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment for the distribution of
Strawberry Shortcake in the U.S. and
Canada.

The new arrangement expands upon a previous agreement and
now includes additional DVD exclusive animated titles, a new CGI-animated movie
and a live-action series.

The deal will also see Fox distributing select content from
DIC’s library of children’s programming, such as Care Bears, Madeline,
Inspector Gadget and Dennis
the Menace.

Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment was named the home
entertainment partner for Strawberry Shortcake in 2003. To date, more than 9 million DVD and VHS units have been sold
in the U.S.
