Tait was a producer for many years before she was appointed president and CEO of the Canadian public broadcaster, CBC/Radio-Canada, a role she stepped into last summer. She leads an organization that serves a diverse audience both in English and French. In a media landscape that provides consumers with infinite choice, she is focusing on the content and values that are important to Canadians, from entertaining shows to media literacy for youth to verifiable news coverage.
