Cartoon Network Picks Up World of Quest

ATLANTA, February 14:
Cartoon Network in the U.K. has acquired the animated adventure show World
of Quest
from Cookie Jar
Entertainment, and will broadcast the series in 2009.

World of Quest is a comedic action series that follows the spoiled
young Prince Nestor and his reluctant protector, Quest, with a team of cohorts
who are on a mission to save Nestor’s parents and their kingdom. The show is
based on the Komikwerks graphic-novel series by Jason Kruse and edited by Emmy
Award-winning Stephen Sustarsic, whose credits include Scooby-Doo, New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and The Flintstones Movie.

Cecilia Persson, Cartoon
Network’s VP of programming, acquisition and presentation, said: “We are
thrilled to have bought World of Quest which will introduce viewers to an exciting medieval kingdom
populated by an array of memorable characters. Cookie Jar is a great innovator
of original content and we’re delighted that this series is coming to Cartoon
