CABLEready Shores Up Central and Eastern European Deals

NORWALK, July 19: In its first trip to DISCOP in three
years, CABLEready shored up deals on more than 45 hours of programming, inking
agreements with 4! StoryTV in Hungary and HBO Central & Eastern Europe’s
Spektrum Channel.

4! StoryTV, the entertainment channel owned by Hungarian
magazine publisher Sanoma and Finland’s 4Nelonen, picked up six half-hour
episodes of the home makeover series Ready, Set, Change, as well as three half-hour episodes of InFANity, both from TV Guide Channel. It also took several
episodes of Hollywood One On One
and the two-hour special Golden Saddles, Silver Spurs.

Spektrum, which reaches viewers in Hungary, the Czech
Republic and Slovakia, picked up the series Forensic Files/Medical
Detectives, Accident Investigator and Great Museums; and the specials Super Structures: Making
Money and Smoke: A Celebration of
the Cigar.
